Active Motion and Movement Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Trenton, New Jersey. About the Organization

Our facility, located in Trenton, is a state-of-the-art orthopedic outpatient practice designed for both rehabilitation and wellness. With a spacious layout of 5000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine, we are equipped with the latest technologies and equipment to support the healing and recovery of our patients. Our team consists of highly skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all of whom are committed to delivering exceptional care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility, which is meticulously crafted to foster an atmosphere of healing and empowerment. Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering personalized and effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a stable routine that also leaves your weekends free for personal time and rejuvenation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their specific needs and establish clear objectives for their recovery.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for focused and personalized treatment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that employ various therapeutic modalities to enhance clients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise program design to minimize reliance on medications and promote non-surgical alternatives.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey by setting realistic goals and celebrating their achievements in regaining functionality.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately to maintain a high standard of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to discuss treatment strategies and patient progress.
• Stay updated on best practices in physical therapy to ensure the delivery of high-quality care based on evidence and proven interventions.
• Encourage clients to adopt healthier lifestyles by improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored fitness and wellness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. We cater to a diverse population that comes to us for a variety of ailments, enabling physical therapists at our facility to develop a broad range of skills. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• A proven track record of delivering effective physical therapy interventions and achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
