This full-time position focuses on delivering exceptional care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Work Environment

This position requires the Physical Therapist to work onsite within our dynamic outpatient office, where collaboration and communication with a team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) is essential. Our work environment is client-focused and equipped with modern therapy tools that facilitate diverse rehabilitation techniques, enhancing patient engagement and therapy results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical functioning and develop personalized treatment goals.
• Implement tailored therapeutic exercises and interventions designed to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Efficiently manage your case load, averaging one patient per hour, while delivering individualized care.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment plans, and document all care procedures clearly and accurately.
• Educate patients on techniques for improving their health outcomes and promoting recovery, addressing lifestyle modifications when necessary.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to optimize treatment protocols and enhance the quality of care delivered.
• Utilize EMR systems such as WebPT for maintaining patient records and describing treatment methodologies.
• Promote and facilitate a positive atmosphere for recovery, motivating patients to adhere to treatment regimens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Maridan South, our primary patient demographic includes individuals with private medical insurance seeking rehabilitation from a variety of orthopedic injuries. Our therapists work with both post-operative cases and those undergoing conservative treatment for chronic pain or injury. A commitment to understanding each patient's unique situation and adjusting therapies accordingly is crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of a valid license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated competence in manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms, especially WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient environment.
• Experience in developing and leading exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with diverse rehabilitation techniques, including advanced modalities and manual therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
