Work Environment

Your work will be onsite, providing therapy in well-equipped treatment rooms designed to facilitate various rehabilitative methodologies. The environment is both supportive and collaborative, where you will engage with a committed team of professionals focused on enhancing patient outcomes and innovating treatment approaches. The designated hours of work are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to ascertain their therapy needs, setting clear objectives for their treatment plan.
• Manage a caseload with an efficient patient ratio of one per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused, quality care tailored to their needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises and functional activities while monitoring their progress and adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, exercises, and resources to help them achieve and maintain a high level of mobility and wellness.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly, tracking treatment progress and modifying care plans according to evolving patient responses.
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team, sharing insights and observations to enhance overall patient care and rehabilitation success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. This demographic may include individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain issues. You will work with a diverse range of patients, understanding their unique histories and developing tailored interventions that address their specific therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a high level of expertise and knowledge in the field.
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record showing no disciplinary actions.
• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, highlighting adeptness in pain management and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to manage patient data effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated competence in manual therapy techniques that augment patient recovery.

• Previous involvement in team-based care models to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
