Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating the needs of patients referred by physicians, currently utilizing advanced assessment tools and methodologies aligned with their treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment programs that address specific physical limitations and enhance patient mobility.
• Delivering direct therapeutic care, ensuring each patient receives high-quality interventions tailored to their recovery goals.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to treat a variety of cases, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, adjusting strategies based on patient progress.
• Consulting with patients and their caregivers, providing education on treatment protocols, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to optimize recovery.
• Collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on holistic patient care, contributing valuable insights during team meetings and discussions.
• Meeting minimum utilization standards, monitoring personal performance metrics, and striving for excellence in patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working closely with a broad spectrum of patients, from children requiring rehabilitation post-injury to adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic conditions. You will address varied therapeutic needs, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to individual patient experiences and fostering a supportive environment for healing.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized APTA or CAPTE accredited program.
• A current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on establishing rapport with patients.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and word processing software useful for documentation and records management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will have a competitive edge:

Compensation and Benefits
