Work Environment

This full-time position operates in a home care environment, allowing for a unique and intimate approach to therapy. You will meet patients in their homes, providing flexibility and personalized care tailored to their specific needs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life schedule conducive for both professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive treatment and care plans specifically tailored to each patient's orthopedic condition, ensuring alignment with their rehabilitation goals.
• Engage in regular communication and coordination with the patients' referring physicians to maintain a steady and consistent level of care throughout the treatment process.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for daily documentation of patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress notes to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Exercise independent and clinically sound judgment during treatment sessions to implement effective therapy techniques and combination therapies.
• Assess, evaluate, and document the progress of patients regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on their advancements and changing needs.
• Adhere to all federal and state physical therapy regulations, maintaining ethical standards and patient confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Our clientele often includes individuals of various ages, from active adults to seniors, who require targeted rehabilitation interventions to regain their strength, mobility, and daily functional skills.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in settings such as orthopedics, geriatrics, acute care, or outpatient therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques, evidence-based treatment modalities, and patient care planning strategies.
