Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, utilizing evidence-based protocols to develop customized treatment plans for optimal recovery results.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with MDs, OTs, and DCs to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Administer rehabilitative treatments using cutting-edge equipment within a well-appointed facility.
• Educate patients on injury prevention techniques and self-management strategies for continued wellness at home.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment progress through a streamlined Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Contribute to team knowledge by participating in collaborative case conferences, clinical rounds, and continuing education workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic issues such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, arthritic conditions, and musculoskeletal pain. As a Physical Therapist at our center, you will directly impact patient experiences and outcomes by facilitating their safe return to everyday activities and enhancing their health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, or eligibility to obtain one.
• A bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics is preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Solid clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills to assess and treat various musculoskeletal conditions.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience

• Certifications in specialized areas such as dry needling, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation.
• An interest in both mentorship and clinical education, supporting the development of junior staff or interns.
