We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at VIP Physical Therapy & Wellness in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify limitations and goals.
• Design tailored treatment plans that incorporate exercise, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Implement and monitor the progress of rehabilitation programs, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on individual patient responses.
• Engage in clinical teaching by mentoring interns, residents, and staff, helping to cultivate a learning environment.
• Deliver annual in-service training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skill sets regarding the latest physical therapy techniques and technologies.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations and document patient progress through detailed reports, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss patient progress and make recommendations for ongoing care.
• Participate in research initiatives related to orthopedic physical therapy, contributing to the body of knowledge in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on the outpatient orthopedic population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their mobility. You will work with a varied demographic, including athletes, active adults, and older adults, each presenting unique challenges that require customized treatment approaches. Understanding the specific needs and goals of your patients will be essential to delivering effective care and achieving optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with a strong preference for candidates possessing a Master's Degree.
• An active license to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly desirable and preferred.
• Experience working in an outpatient clinical setting with a diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
