Work Environment

Our Bridgewater outpatient office offers a welcoming and dynamic work setting, primarily operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify physical impairments and functional limitations upon their initial visit.
• Craft personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive clinical findings and individual patient goals.
• Utilize a blend of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to optimize patient recovery.
• Instruct patients on best practices for injury prevention and develop home exercise programs tailored to their unique needs.
• Systematically monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure efficacy.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated approach to patient care.
• Ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA standards and maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques, continuing education opportunities, and emerging industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at our Bridgewater facility consists of individuals recovering from a variety of orthopedic issues, including sports injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will work directly with patients who are highly motivated to regain their physical functionality, enabling you to form impactful therapist-patient relationships that contribute to their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree are preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required (recent graduates with relevant clinical rotations may also be considered).
• Proven skills in manual therapy and developing effective therapeutic exercise programs.
• Exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial.

Preferred Experience

• Prior exposure to diverse treatment methodologies in an outpatient orthopedic environment.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and utilizing technology to enhance patient care.
