Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic, located in the heart of Princeton, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in guiding patients on their rehabilitation journey, helping them restore mobility, alleviate pain, and achieve peak physical performance through personalized care plans and evidence-based interventions.

Work Environment

The clinic operates within a spacious 5,000 square-foot facility equipped with the latest in sports medicine technology. Our onsite rehabilitation center offers a friendly and supportive atmosphere where teamwork and continual learning are emphasized. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, maintaining a schedule that allows for adequate patient interaction without compromising quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their rehabilitation needs and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour to ensure high-quality, attentive care.
• Educate patients on their conditions, involved treatments, and strategies for ongoing management to encourage self-efficacy.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and other specialists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Document and track patient progress and modify treatment plans based on their feedback and clinical findings.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices by guiding patients in exercises that enhance their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and modify as necessary for continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be working predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including sports-related injuries. Our clientele consists mainly of individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring access to advanced therapeutic options. Each patient's unique needs will guide your care approach, allowing you to make a significant impact on their quality of life and physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no recorded disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and a strong understanding of orthopedic conditions and treatments.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
