Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is based in our modern outpatient office, where you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team comprising physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Our clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, fostering a healthy work-life balance while delivering treatments aimed at optimizing patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to adult patients, primarily aged 40-65, ensuring personalized care tailored to individual needs.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop customized treatment plans that address specific patient goals, enhancing mobility and functionality.
• Utilize an array of therapeutic techniques, including hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to facilitate recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously using the CureMD Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Engage in effective communication with referring medical professionals such as MDs, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic consists primarily of adults in the age range of 40 to 65 years, many of whom are recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. As a Physical Therapist at Performance Enhancement Physical Therapy, you will focus on rehabilitative strategies to restore function and promote independence in this population, tailoring your approach to address their unique challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, active, or eligible New Jersey Physical Therapy license.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills aligned with hands-on therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly CureMD, is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes:
