We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient orthopedic practice at the Austin Rehab Center in Spotswood, New Jersey. Work Environment

The rehabilitation center provides a serene and professional setting where healthcare providers can focus on the individual needs of each patient. Operating with a steady average of three patients per hour allows for a calm workflow conducive to focused care. Our hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their specific needs and establish customized treatment plans tailored to their goals.
• Implement hands-on manual therapy techniques to enhance function, manage pain, and improve mobility.
• Guide patients through progressive strength and movement programs that foster recovery and promote lifelong health.
• Regularly adapt care plans based on clinical outcomes, feedback from patients, and ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's rehabilitation are addressed.
• Document all evaluations, treatments, and progress in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, utilizing WebPT or similar software.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients ranging from ages 40 to 65, who often present with various orthopedic issues. By creating individualized treatment regimens, you will empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals and enhance their quality of life. Your efforts will play a crucial role in guiding them through recovery, allowing you to witness tangible improvements in their mobility and physical function.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey physical therapy license.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a focus on hands-on therapy techniques.
• Proficiency in using WebPT or similar EMR software for efficient patient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

Experience in developing interdisciplinary treatment plans and familiarity with evidence-based practices in orthopedic physical therapy are preferred. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience.
