Position Overview

Back To Shape Physical Health Therapy, a dedicated orthopedic outpatient clinic located in Spotswood, New Jersey, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. This is a full-time, onsite position with a structured schedule of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We prioritize quality care over high patient volumes, aiming to provide our patients with the personalized attention they deserve. Our compensation package ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, accompanied by comprehensive benefits.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility in Spotswood provides a supportive and collaborative work environment, where teamwork is crucial in delivering high-quality care. As part of our staff, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of Medical Doctors (MDs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Chiropractors (DCs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and Physician Assistants (PAs). Each team member plays a critical role in a rehabilitation process designed for seamless integration of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess their current physical health status and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.
• Provide one-on-one treatment sessions focusing on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient treatment and progress meticulously using CureMD EMR, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain effective communication with all health care professionals involved in the patient's care to foster a team-oriented approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our typical patient demographic comprises adults aged 40 to 65, many of whom suffer from orthopedic conditions resulting from injuries or chronic pain. These may include post-surgical rehabilitation, joint pain management, and recovery from accidents. Your role will significantly impact their recovery journey, enabling them to regain function and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Must hold a valid New Jersey Physical Therapy (PT) license or be eligible for licensure.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
• Exceptional clinical reasoning skills are essential to assessing patient needs and formulating effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

• While outpatient experience is preferred, it is not required. We welcome recent graduates who are eager to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
• Experience with an electronic medical records system, particularly CureMD, would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, ranging between $110,000 and $125,000 annually. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
