Century Impact Orthopedic Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation facility located in South River, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing muscle, nerve, and joint assessments to determine their functional capabilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall function.
• Provide direct physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as traction and massage, as prescribed by physicians.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of treatment plans, ensuring compliance with best practice standards.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans according to observed changes in conditions or overall response to therapy.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and strategies for comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, home exercise programs, and the proper use and care of therapeutic devices.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assess home environments to make recommendations for adaptations that enhance patients' independence and safety.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure adherence to local and federal guidelines in therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve adult patients from various backgrounds, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. Each case requires a tailored approach, balancing clinical expertise with compassionate patient care to support individuals on their journey to recovery and health maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current physical therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey, in good standing.
• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient rehabilitation or home healthcare.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
• Solid understanding of federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practices.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to assess patient needs and create strategic therapy plans while promoting proactive patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, continuing education reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
