We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Austin Rehab Center in Spotswood, New Jersey. Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, designed to create a calm and therapeutic atmosphere for patient recovery. You will be treating adult patients aged 40 to 65 in a steady-paced environment, where the recommended patient load is three patients per hour. This structure allows you to focus on delivering meaningful, individualized care while ensuring that each patient receives the attention they deserve. The hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing you with a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific goals and needs.
• Administer hands-on manual therapy techniques to enhance function, alleviate pain, and improve mobility.
• Guide patients through progressive strength and movement programs, ensuring proper technique and safety.
• Regularly assess patient progress and adapt care plans based on clinical outcomes and patient feedback.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated healthcare solutions for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients, particularly those in the 40 to 65 age range, who present with various orthopedic conditions. This includes patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic injuries, or seeking preventive care to maintain optimal physical function. Your expertise in outpatient orthopedic therapy will play a critical role in helping these patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT or similar systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing and implementing specialized rehabilitation programs for diverse orthopedic conditions.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, allowing you to effectively educate and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.

Compensation and Benefits
