Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations on each patient, assessing their physical abilities and limitations to identify specific challenges and treatment goals.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that include a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training tailored to the patient's needs.
• Utilize a variety of methodologies, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, and stretching techniques, alongside hands-on approaches to foster recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously in our electronic health records (EHR) system, ensuring accurate reporting and data management.
• Adjust treatment strategies as necessary based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback, while celebrating progress milestones with patients to foster engagement and motivation.
• Educate patients about their conditions and empower them with tools and knowledge to maintain recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing to clinical discussions on new treatment techniques and patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our goal is to provide tailored rehabilitation programs for individuals of all ages, helping them achieve functional independence and return to their daily activities. We are particularly focused on creating a positive therapeutic environment that encourages patient involvement in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, active New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, though new graduates with relevant internships may also apply.
• Strong understanding of manual therapy techniques, rehabilitation methodologies, and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process.

Preferred Experience

• Experience employing various therapeutic modalities and exercises to treat musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
