Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by gathering relevant medical history and performing assessments to establish a clear diagnosis.
• Develop and communicate detailed treatment plans, incorporating the input of the patients and their families to ensure goal alignment.
• Implement treatment protocols, adapting techniques and exercises based on patient feedback and progress to optimize outcomes in real-time.
• Monitor and document changes in patient conditions, making necessary adjustments to the plan of care and engaging with medical professionals as needed.
• Complete discharge planning and ensure accurate documentation of treatment activities, including initial evaluations, ongoing progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Exemplify time management skills by maintaining an organized schedule and adhering to productivity expectations.
• Participate in departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient access to care, including assessing barriers and utilizing data for strategic planning.
• Engage in professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities and mentoring students as a clinical instructor.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to elderly patients rehabilitating after surgeries. Our clinic emphasizes personalized care, tailoring treatment plans to individual patient needs to achieve functional recovery and improve overall health status.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Must hold a valid DPT license in the State of New Jersey.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Although a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred, we are open to candidates passionate about patient care and eager to grow.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is advantageous, particularly in musculoskeletal therapy or post-operative recovery.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems and telehealth practices is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and engage effectively with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
