Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center features a supportive and dynamic workplace environment, where collaboration among healthcare professionals is encouraged. You will work on-site from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, engaging daily with both patients and colleagues in a warm, inviting atmosphere that promotes healing and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, establishing clear goals and treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement diverse treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and evidence-based exercise regimens to facilitate recovery and improve function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed, ensuring transparent communication with patients and healthcare team members throughout treatment.
• Design and lead specialized fitness and wellness programs aimed at promoting long-term health and preventing re-injury.
• Foster an encouraging environment where you motivate patients and empower them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, to create cohesive and comprehensive care strategies.
• Engage in ongoing education and adherence to current best practices to maintain high standards of patient care and personal professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletic injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will assist individuals ranging from active athletes to older adults in managing their rehabilitation journeys with empathy and expertise. Our patients benefit from tailored interventions that address both their physical and emotional needs, contributing to an effective recovery experience.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license recognized in New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; preference for candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably within orthopedics.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic.
• Familiarity with advanced rehab technologies and evidence-based practice methodologies.
• History of successful project involvement within a team-oriented healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 110,000 to 130,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your financial, health, and lifestyle needs.
