Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Franklin Park. The environment is collaborative and supportive, designed to foster professional growth. You will have access to cutting-edge equipment and resources to assist you in providing the highest level of patient care. Our work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for each patient to devise tailored treatment plans that address their unique orthopedic needs and goals.
• Collaborate closely with patients' physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and to provide real-time updates on progress.
• Document treatment sessions meticulously using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Utilize independent judgment based on clinical experience to select appropriate treatment methods, balancing different techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practice, maintaining a high standard of ethical care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population suffering from various orthopedic conditions. This includes post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, chronic pain management, and age-related mobility issues. Collaborating with elderly patients, as well as individuals recovering from acute medical events, requires sensitivity and tailored communication to foster trust and encourage active participation in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An active physical therapist license from the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical settings, specifically focusing on orthopedics, geriatrics, and outpatient rehabilitation.
• Solid understanding and experience with orthopedic assessment techniques, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation modalities.
• Strong skills in communication, organization, and critical problem-solving to deliver effective patient care solutions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Background in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitative techniques, especially in orthopedic settings.
• Familiarity with EMR systems to facilitate accurate patient documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, along with performance bonuses for outstanding contributions.
