Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center offers an onsite, collaborative atmosphere that fosters professional relationships among staff and patients alike. The facility houses advanced rehabilitation equipment and treatment modalities that support various therapeutic interventions. This role will predominantly involve working with patients one-on-one in a vibrant outpatient clinic, with a regular work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' specific goals and physical limitations, ensuring personalized treatment plans are developed accordingly.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and methodologies to guide therapeutic interventions, providing effective treatment for conditions such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management.
• Deliver cost-effective therapies that help enhance patients' mobility while reducing dependency on pharmaceuticals and avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, contributing to discussions around treatment plans and patient progress updates.
• Monitor and document patient progress against treatment goals, adapting care plans as necessary to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Instruct patients and their families on exercises and wellness practices to promote a proactive approach to health and recovery.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education opportunities, contributing to the knowledge base of the practice and seeking innovative approaches in the field of physical therapy.
• Foster a supportive environment for patients, instilling confidence and motivating individuals throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those dealing with sports-related injuries, and individuals suffering from chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your client interactions will vary widely, from post-surgical patients eager to regain mobility to athletes wishing to improve their performance. Each day's unique challenges will require you to utilize your skills in manual therapy and exercise formulation tailored to each patient's individual needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and unencumbered state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop tailored exercise protocols effectively.
• A clean professional record, demonstrating outstanding ethical practices without disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare colleagues effectively.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with diverse patient populations, particularly in settings focused on orthopedic rehabilitation, is highly preferred. A track record of successful patient outcomes and familiarity with current best practices in physical therapy will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience, along with potential bonuses based on performance metrics.
