Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, focusing on home care, thereby allowing the Physical Therapist to work closely with patients in the comfort of their residences. Our work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable routine that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs and establish personalized treatment objectives aligned with evidence-based practices.
• Manage a caseload effectively with an emphasis on one-on-one patient interactions, ensuring personalized care and attention.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises designed to improve patients' mobility and strength.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans incorporating diverse therapeutic interventions, such as aquatic therapy or modalities like ultrasound.
• Implement customized fitness and wellness programs that encourage healthy lifestyle choices, ultimately fostering independence in daily activities.
• Continuously motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process, ensuring their engagement in therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, to maintain an integrated care approach.
• Document all patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, ensuring a deep understanding of the complexities of musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• An active and unencumbered license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No record of disciplinary actions against the license, reflecting a commitment to ethical practice.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with hands-on skills that adapt to individual patient needs.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, with proficiency in platforms like WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist within orthopedic outpatient settings is highly valued.
• A proven track record of effectively designing and implementing exercise programs for diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated ability to foster patient motivation and achieve optimum rehabilitation outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
