Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients, taking into account their medical history, current health status, and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Identify and address unique goals and requirements of each individual, formulating comprehensive care plans accordingly.
• Implement a variety of treatment methodologies, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Design and oversee personalized fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Motivate and encourage patients by providing ongoing support and feedback throughout their treatment journey.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. With a focus on achieving functional independence, you will cater to a diverse demographic, including athletes, active adults, and seniors. Each patient's personalized treatment plan will be grounded in thorough assessments that guide them toward their specific recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license in New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic or outpatient settings.
• No history of disciplinary actions or violations on your professional license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with advanced orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Prior experience in a leadership role or in mentoring junior therapists may be advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and patient management software.
