Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients using standardized tests and observations to determine individual treatment needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans with clearly defined objectives, continually reassessing and modifying strategies as patient progress demands.
• Administer medically prescribed therapies, including exercises and manual therapy techniques, tailored to outpatient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Engage in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary committees, enhancing the collective expertise of our staff.
• Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to physical therapy.
• Guide and mentor students and new staff through educational opportunities focused on clinical expertise and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will serve a varied patient demographic, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other conditions affecting mobility and function. Your expertise will empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, fostering independence and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, or a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure from the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners is required.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and maintaining certifications relevant to the field.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient care. Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and interventions that promote patient recovery and independence is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
