Work Environment

This role is an onsite position, wherein you will engage directly with patients in their homes. This home care setting is designed to create a comfortable and familiar environment for patients, promoting healing and recovery in the most supportive circumstances. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing their physical condition and functional capabilities to develop effective treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapy regimens that incorporate a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modern modalities.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise protocols, strategies for pain management, injury prevention, and necessary lifestyle changes to enhance recovery.
• Monitor and accurately document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as required to align with patients' evolving needs and recovery goals.
• Maintain robust medical records compliant with all regulatory standards, ensuring that patient data is both organized and accessible for future reference.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure cohesive care tailored to the individual's health journey.
• Continuously seek professional development by staying updated with the latest research and therapeutic techniques in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our care is on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Many of our clients are seniors seeking rehabilitation after joint replacements, as well as athletes striving to regain peak performance levels. You will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility and functionality, positively impacting their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, specifically with a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficient clinical skills, including the performance and evaluation of diverse therapeutic interventions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and family education.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation procedures.
• Participation in continuing education courses related to orthopedic physical therapy.
• Certifications in specialized therapy techniques, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, are beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
