Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Clinica Recovery LLC, you will work on-site in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Tenafly, NJ. The facility is well-equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources designed to optimize patient outcomes. Our collaborative atmosphere encourages communication and teamwork among health professionals, ensuring holistic care for our residents. The work schedule typically involves Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic exercises and modalities aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and pain management.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, adjusting techniques and tools based on ongoing progress and patient feedback.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, caregivers, and other rehabilitation specialists to create a cohesive care plan and ensure comprehensive support.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously as per regulatory and company standards, ensuring accountability and clarity in care.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs and strategies to maintain safety and effectiveness outside the clinical environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with an adult geriatric population, focusing on individuals ranging in age from 40 to 65 years. Many residents come to us following surgery, injury, or to manage chronic conditions that require ongoing rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, your expertise will be crucial in improving their functional capabilities and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist (PT) License is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; advanced degrees are welcomed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, ensuring a positive therapeutic relationship.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a proactive, engaged member of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
