Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities including exercises, manual therapy, and the utilization of advanced rehabilitation equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as required to help patients meet their rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques and assistive devices to promote independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care across all treatment disciplines.
• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, and participating in relevant associations to advance your skills and knowledge.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records regarding patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population, including children and adults with a variety of conditions that may include post-operative recovery, chronic pain, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, and rehabilitation following major illness or injury. Your compassionate approach will foster trust and cooperation, aiding each patient's journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to qualify as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and scheduling.
• Adaptable and able to manage a dynamic caseload, displaying flexibility in your approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, recent graduates demonstrating strong clinical knowledge and commitment are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in home care or rehabilitation settings is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
