Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical health, including assessments of strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs, goals, and diagnoses.
• Facilitate a range of therapeutic exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and promote optimal recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes.
• Use Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation and therapy notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with orthopedic patients, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, post-surgical patients, and those suffering from chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be invaluable in tailoring treatment sessions that address the unique physical challenges faced by each patient, ultimately improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• At least two years of hands-on clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, is highly regarded.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing a caseload of orthopedic patients with varying degrees of recovery challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
