Human Touch Rehab Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Norwood, New Jersey. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality physiotherapy services in a home care setting, empowering patients on their journey to recovery and enhancing their functional independence.

Work Environment

This Physical Therapist role is primarily onsite, working directly within the homes of our patients. Consequently, flexibility and adaptability are vital, as you'll encounter various settings and conditions that require tailored therapeutic intervention. Operating standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, you will manage a patient load of approximately two patients per hour, ensuring each receives focused care and attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities, limitations, and medical history, which informs the development of effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized care plans that specifically target each patient's recovery objectives, employing evidence-based practices.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate effectively with patients to keep them engaged in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the patient's recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions, each presenting unique challenges and recovery needs. The focus on orthopedic rehabilitation allows you to work with individuals suffering from post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, sports injuries, and more, emphasizing functional mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a reputable, accredited institution.
• Current active New Jersey Physical Therapy license, enabling you to practice in a clinical setting.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, demonstrating a track record of effective patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, with preference given to candidates familiar with WebPT software.
• Ability to educate patients about their treatments, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
