Experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist in Rehabilitation Facility

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Human Touch Rehab Center in Haworth, New Jersey. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with diverse needs. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our facility, where you will join a team of seasoned healthcare professionals dedicated to clinical excellence. Your typical work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. On average, you will engage with approximately two patients per hour, providing you with ample opportunities to develop strong therapeutic relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, functional limitations, and overall health status, using standardized assessment tools.
• Develop individualized care plans that address each patient's specific recovery goals, incorporating evidence-based practices and innovative therapy techniques.
• Administer treatment for a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular conditions, adapting techniques to meet patient needs.
• Implement a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education strategies to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Effectively track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure alignment with recovery goals and facilitate ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, as well as other health professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Human Touch Rehab Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and patients managing chronic conditions. Our emphasis is on providing tailored care that respects the unique circumstances and goals of each patient, ensuring an approach that is both empathetic and effective.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, showcasing a strong foundation in patient assessment and treatment protocols.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software; familiarity with WebPT is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey treatment goals and progress to patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Advanced training or certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy.
• Knowledge of contemporary rehabilitation practices and healthcare trends.

Compensation and Benefits
