Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in the heart of Hillsdale, New Jersey. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools, ensuring that you can deliver the most effective care to our patients. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. The center operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while supporting a high volume of patients.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will undertake a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

• Providing individualized hands-on therapy, utilizing advanced manual techniques and movement-based treatments to promote healing and recovery.
• Educating patients on tailored rehabilitation exercises and best practices for injury prevention, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Regularly monitoring patient progress by conducting assessments, updating treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations, and adjusting therapies as required to optimize outcomes.
• Maintaining open and effective communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and to facilitate referrals as necessary.
• Documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and promptly within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with an outpatient population, focusing on orthopedic conditions related to post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, age-related mobility issues, and chronic pain management. Our diverse clientele ranges from active athletes to older adults looking to regain their independence, allowing you to employ a wide variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to different patient needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Physical Therapist position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, showcasing solid clinical skills.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with a range of rehabilitation modalities.
• Experience using EMR systems, particularly platforms such as WebPT, to document patient progress efficiently.
• A clean professional background with no history of disciplinary actions.

Preferred Experience

While the required qualifications focus on baseline experiences, we highly value candidates with:

• Additional certifications in specialized areas such as dry needling, sports therapy, or ergonomic assessments.
• Demonstrated history of successful patient outcomes and enhanced recovery timelines.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
