Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology in physical therapy practices. As a full-time member of our clinical team, you will operate primarily onsite, ensuring direct engagement with patients and fostering relationships that promote trust and positivity in the therapeutic process. The work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical health, identifying specific needs and areas for improvement to develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Implement individualized therapeutic exercise programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall functional capacity.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to reduce pain, increase mobility, and facilitate a faster recovery.
• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving recovery goals.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records and document treatment sessions efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will cater to a varied patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will play a vital role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they receive the highest level of care tailored to their specific circumstances and recovery needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on clinical experience is necessary to effectively manage diverse cases.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation approaches are crucial for success in this position.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred to facilitate efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques, such as Graston or dry needling, will be viewed positively.
• Strong interpersonal skills that enhance patient communication and collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
