Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients to establish individualized treatment goals and programs based on their unique needs.
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to maximize patient outcomes while adhering to the New Jersey State Practice Act and APTA's professional Code of Ethics.
• Provide hands-on treatment to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall physical function while actively monitoring their progress.
• Collaborate with other practitioners and community resources to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational guidelines.
• Stay engaged with current physical therapy practices and participate in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars.
• Manage additional tasks as requested by center management to enhance overall service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to assess specific needs across these groups and develop adaptable treatment plans that cater to varying physical and developmental challenges. Experience with orthopedic rehabilitation is particularly valuable given our focus on musculoskeletal conditions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing physical therapy services with a strong emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring clarity and understanding of treatment processes.
• Competence in assessing age-specific data and providing appropriate interventions for diverse patient demographics.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy or who have demonstrated exceptional patient outcomes in inpatient rehabilitation environments.

Compensation and Benefits
