This position is an onsite role based at our fully equipped Rehabilitation Center in Bloomfield, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate patients' medical histories and physical condition to establish appropriate treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver comprehensive, goal-oriented therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring that treatments maximize recovery outcomes.
• Conduct thorough assessments and re-assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment regimens as necessary, adhering closely to New Jersey State Practice Act guidelines.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team members and community resources to develop and coordinate integrated treatment approaches for optimal patient care.
• Exhibit ethical practices aligned with the APTA's Code of Ethics and uphold the organization's Principles and Values in all interactions.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities and contribute to the mentorship of junior therapists within the practice.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive treatment records that reflect patient progress and effectiveness of interventions.
• Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, and training workshops as required to enhance the collective knowledge and performance of the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a varied patient demographic, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation will enable you to effectively treat conditions ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management, ensuring tailored care strategies that cater to individual patient goals.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey as a practicing Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of experience in delivering physical therapy services, ideally in a rehabilitation center or similar clinical setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
