We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Fairview East Healthcare and Behavioral Center located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Work Environment

As an Onsite Rehabilitation Center, we foster a dynamic and collaborative team setting where you will work alongside two experienced Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Our work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced professional schedule conducive to both patient care and therapist wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying individual needs and treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load with an average of one patient per hour, providing comprehensive physical therapy interventions.
• Create personalized care plans that integrate diverse treatment techniques to foster recovery.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments aimed at improving clients' mobility while minimizing reliance on medications or surgeries.
• Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Document treatment services accurately and timely, utilizing electronic medical record systems such as WebPT.
• Stay abreast of advancements in therapy techniques to continually enhance the quality of patient care.
• Encourage patient motivation through active involvement in their treatment journey, emphasizing functional achievements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and well-rounded patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic clients, who will depend on your expertise to regain functional independence following injuries or surgeries. You will implement targeted rehabilitation strategies that not only address pain management but also promote a holistic approach to recovery involving strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid New Jersey State Physical Therapist license, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in contemporary manual therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing and conducting exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically in navigating platforms such as WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, dependent on experience.
