Work Environment

This role is set in a home care environment, allowing physical therapists to directly interact with patients in their own settings. Working onsite provides a unique opportunity to observe and address the challenges patients face in their everyday environments. The position follows a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, helping to ensure a work-life balance that allows you to focus on what matters most—your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer hands-on therapy through manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs based on comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients and their families on effective post-treatment care strategies and preventive measures to minimize future injuries.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate patient records utilizing EMR systems, such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an orthopedic patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse age groups, tailoring rehabilitation programs to meet the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will not only assist them in regaining mobility but also in enhancing their overall physical health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with a clean licensure history free from prior board actions.
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a relevant practice.
• Demonstration of strong manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation protocols.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically with experience in platforms such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While the primary requirement is a Bachelor's degree, candidates possessing a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be preferred. Additionally, demonstrated experience in home care settings or familiarity with community-based rehabilitation programs will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
