Work Environment

This role is primarily based onsite at our outpatient office, which is designed to foster a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere. Your schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments by utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and standardized testing to determine each individual's treatment needs.
• Develop and implement customized therapy plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and overall function, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Guide patients through targeted rehabilitation exercises and activities, ensuring proper technique to maximize safety and effectiveness.
• Employ a range of manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, restore movement, and enhance overall therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will work with a diverse population of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-rehabilitation recovery. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain their functional abilities and improve their quality of life through personalized therapy and education.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Proficient in a variety of manual therapy techniques, demonstrated through past experiences.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly desirable, as it supports advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
• Experience working with orthopedic patients who have undergone surgery, including joint replacements and sports injuries, is a plus.
