We are actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at Evolution Physical Therapy, Inc., a leading outpatient facility in Irvington, New Jersey. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation center, collaborating closely with a small, supportive team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our work atmosphere is dynamic and engaging, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning. The work schedule is structured as Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that supports work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify individual goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically treating one patient per hour, allowing for focused, quality interactions.
• Create comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patients, integrating diverse therapeutic techniques to foster effective healing.
• Utilize manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and overall functional capacity.
• Design and implement health and wellness programs targeted toward enhancing mobility and lifestyle quality.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment results meticulously in our EMR system, primarily using WebPT.
• Communicate effectively with patients, motivating them through their therapy and encouraging adherence to their treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that is in the best interest of the patient.
• Evaluate and track treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to maximize patient success.
• Conduct ongoing patient education on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications to promote healthy living.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal issues. The chosen candidate will work directly with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions, striving to improve their quality of life through effective rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions or board sanctions.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy techniques and patient assessment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tailor treatments and enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with treatment modalities specific to sports rehabilitation, including strength training and post-operative care.
• Experience utilizing EMR software, especially WebPT, for patient care documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and continuing education opportunities.
