Oro Valle Motion Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist. Located in Newark, New Jersey, Oro Valle Motion Physical Therapy Services prides itself on delivering exceptional care within a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility. Our practice is designed for outpatient services, catering primarily to patients with private medical insurance. We maintain a small, collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering an environment centered on supportive and personalized patient care.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite commitment, operating on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM. The facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic modalities and technologies, allowing our therapists to implement the most effective treatment strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs and establish customized treatment plans.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of approximately 1 patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives the attention and care required for their recovery.
• Utilize various treatment methodologies to provide cost-effective care and enhance patients' mobility, contributing to their quality of life.
• Minimize the need for medication through effective alternative treatment options and personalized rehabilitation strategies.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that address the unique requirements of each patient.
• Motivate and educate patients, encouraging them to take an active role in their recovery journey by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop interdisciplinary plans for optimized patient care.
• Regularly assess treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and maintain transparent communication with both patients and staff.
• Accurately document all services provided in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your role will be providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients navigating orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with a diverse clientele who are primarily covered by private medical insurance, ensuring that each individual receives the personalized care they need to regain mobility and improve their functional abilities. Our target demographic includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Competency in developing and implementing personalized exercise regimens specific to patient needs.
• Proficient knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a full benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
