Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality care to adult patients (ages 40-65) with musculoskeletal concerns, managing an average caseload of three patients per hour.
• Crafting individualized treatment plans that aim to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities.
• Employing a range of therapeutic techniques, including hands-on manual therapy, exercise programs, and patient education focused on injury prevention and self-management strategies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes medical doctors, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation using CureMD EMR, ensuring that all patient interactions and treatment progress are effectively recorded.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients aged 40 to 65 who seek rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries or conditions. This demographic often includes individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic pain, requiring targeted interventions to help them regain mobility and functionality. Your expertise will play a vital role in guiding them toward achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Exceptional clinical and communication skills to effectively assess and educate patients.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
