Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, evidence-based physical therapy care to adult patients, focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop customized treatment plans geared towards enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and patient education strategies to facilitate recovery and promote self-management.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, occupational therapists, and nurse practitioners, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using CureMD EMR, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring continuity of care.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust individual treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives that focus on enhancing patient outcomes and team performance within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is to work with adult patients aged 40-65, many of whom are experiencing orthopedic concerns related to sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain syndromes. A thorough understanding of this demographic's specific needs is crucial, as treatment plans need to be tailored to accommodate various levels of physical capability and recovery goals. You will engage in fostering strong therapeutic relationships with patients to enhance their treatment experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is a minimum requirement for eligibility.
• An active or eligible physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients during their rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting is required, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic environment.

Compensation and Benefits
