Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their medical history, physical capabilities, and any specific limitations they may present.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment protocols based on individual evaluations, ensuring alignment with contemporary best practices in physical therapy.
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, modifying treatment plans as the patient's condition evolves.
• Documenting evaluation findings, treatment progress, and discharge plans meticulously to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and to ensure continuity of care.
• Participating in departmental meetings and training sessions to continually enhance your knowledge and skills, while also mentoring students assigned to our facility.
• Engaging with marketing initiatives within the community to promote our services and accessibility of care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
