Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals, needs, and physical limitations.
• Manage a patient caseload with a focus on delivering one-on-one sessions to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies derived from best practices in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
• Develop individual care plans that address mobility limitations and enhance functional independence.
• Employ cost-effective treatment methods aimed at improving range of motion while minimizing the need for medications or invasive procedures.
• Create tailored exercise and wellness programs that align with each patient's recovery objectives and lifestyle.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout the rehabilitation process, providing emotional and motivational support.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, adapt strategies based on progress, and document patient interactions and interventions clearly.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient orthopedic center, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and seniors, all of whom are seeking to regain their independence and improve their quality of life through movement and rehabilitation. Your role will be essential in analyzing their specific conditions and tailoring therapeutic approaches that drive recovery.

Qualifications

• Required education level: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; however, a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of disciplinary actions or ethical breaches in your professional career.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques, with the ability to apply them effectively in an orthopedic context.
• Strong skills in creating and executing exercise therapy plans that resonate with patient needs and goals.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Successful candidates will have prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of rehabilitation protocols and patient care best practices. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
