Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing effective treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement and monitor treatment regimens tailored for orthopedic conditions while ensuring adherence to physician directives.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to address various conditions and measure patient progress consistently.
• Engage actively with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance treatment effectiveness and improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, exercises, and strategies to facilitate recovery beyond therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress, adhering to organizational protocols.
• Exhibit exceptional service through effective communication and a compassionate approach, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
• Contribute to meeting clinical utilization goals and other performance metrics, aligning with the center's strategic objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Joint in Motion, you will treat a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our patient population also includes children and individuals seeking sports medicine therapies. This diversity provides opportunities to apply a wide range of techniques and approaches to rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey is mandatory.
• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, issued by the American Heart Association, is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including documentation and scheduling software.
• A commitment to building strong relationships with each patient to help them achieve their functional goals.
• Ability to connect positively with people and serve the community actively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized treatment programs such as post-operative rehabilitation, sports injury recovery, and chronic pain management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
