Position Overview

Breakthrough Rehabilitation & Treatment Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our outpatient facility in Lincroft, New Jersey. This full-time position offers an engaging work environment and a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Work Environment

The physical therapist will work on-site in our modern outpatient office environment, where they will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for both patients and staff, equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and treatment modalities. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced life outside of work while ensuring an optimal caring environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state-specific physical therapy practice acts and regulations, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities, and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that address therapeutic goals.
• Implement clinically-proven treatment protocols based on assessment findings, adapting interventions as necessary to accommodate patient progress and evolving healthcare needs.
• Utilize a range of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques to monitor patient outcomes, adjusting therapy plans in response to observed conditions and recovery trajectories.
• Document patient care activities meticulously, ensuring records are clear and compliant with all required standards, including initial evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by consulting with fellow healthcare professionals when necessary, recognizing when a patient's condition may require additional medical intervention.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving patient access to therapy services, actively participating in facility meetings to discuss barriers and strategize solutions.
• Manage timely discharge planning, ensuring patients receive appropriate recommendations for continued care, enhancing their long-term recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient orthopedic center predominantly serves individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and other conditions requiring rehabilitation. You will treat a diverse range of patients, including athletes, post-operative individuals, and those coping with chronic pain conditions. By employing a patient-centered approach, you will work on restoring function and facilitating the best possible recovery through customized therapy plans.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) in New Jersey, following the standards set by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in evaluating and treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Current certification in CPR, showcasing your commitment to patient safety and emergency preparedness.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of outpatient orthopedic experience, candidates with a more extensive background in clinical settings involving diverse patient populations will be considered favorably. Additional training in specialized therapies or techniques will be an asset.
