Work Environment

This position will be based in our outpatient office in Lincroft, where you will work directly on-site with patients in a welcoming and state-of-the-art clinical setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans catered to their specific needs.
• Administer diverse treatment modalities, focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations to foster recovery and functional improvement.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with each patient's goals, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities.
• Deliver exemplary customer service that enhances patient satisfaction and fosters trust and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including physicians and rehabilitation staff to track and maximize patient progress.
• Educate and mentor patients and their caregivers on treatment regimens, home exercise programs, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term health.
• Meet minimum productivity goals and contribute to the business objectives by driving patient outcomes and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus predominantly on orthopedic patients, many of whom may be recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions. Additionally, your patients may include pediatric and neurologic populations, allowing you to employ varied approaches and techniques to meet their rehabilitation needs. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages achieve optimal function and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license specific to New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic cases preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficient in computer operations and documentation software that aids in patient management and assessment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly with diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients, fostering an environment conducive to healing and recovery.
• Prior experience in implementing and monitoring evidence-based treatment protocols.
