Work Environment

This role will be based in our rehabilitation facility in Red Bank, New Jersey, where you will work within a collaborative and supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily tasks will include:

• Evaluating and diagnosing patients referred by physicians, utilising comprehensive assessment techniques.
• Planning and implementing individualized treatment programs tailored to achieve specific patient goals.
• Delivering hands-on therapeutic care, employing advanced techniques and procedures that align with the physician's treatment plan.
• Engaging with patients in one-on-one sessions to train them in exercises and therapies designed to restore mobility and strength.
• Providing education and training to patients and their caregivers to enhance adherence to treatment protocols.
• Conducting regular progress assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals, contributing to the clinic's overall performance metrics and business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic cases, but also encompassing pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. You will have the chance to treat individuals of different ages and backgrounds, experiencing various conditions that require tailored rehabilitation strategies. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings or specialized training in manual therapy techniques will be favored. A demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with patients is essential for success in this role.
