Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of each patient to assess their individual needs, focusing on recovery from injury, disease, or surgical interventions.
• Formulating customized treatment plans utilizing a blend of therapeutic techniques, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implementing evidence-based practices to help patients achieve their therapeutic goals and optimize their functional independence.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, adjusting therapeutic goals and treatments as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
• Advising patients on the use of assistive devices for self-care and mobility, as well as training patients, their caregivers, and other healthcare team members on proper usage and rehabilitation methods.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and relevant educational opportunities to maintain and enhance your expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in basic word processing and computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits
