Work Environment

Our practice is dedicated to home care, providing therapy services directly to patients in the comfort of their own homes. This unique work setting allows our therapists to build meaningful relationships with their patients and observe the impact of therapy in their everyday environments. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address patients' goals, strengths, and challenges.
• Design comprehensive treatment plans that utilize diverse, cost-effective therapeutic techniques.
• Implement individualized treatment sessions focused on enhancing range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Educate and train patients on exercises and wellness strategies specific to their rehabilitation needs.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to maximize outcomes and adherence to treatment plans.
• Track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a cohesive approach to patient care, addressing complex cases effectively.
• Champion preventative measures to assist clients in maintaining health and well-being long after therapy has concluded.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients from young athletes to active seniors, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and goals. Patient engagement is critical, and your ability to create an environment of trust and support will significantly influence their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly with patients experiencing musculoskeletal injuries.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, care planning, and hands-on treatment techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear interactions with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt your communication style to effectively manage a diverse patient demographic.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a home care setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient in utilizing technology and electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and progress tracking.
• Experience applying evidence-based practices and innovative treatment modalities in orthopedic therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
