Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at St. Bernards Physical Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients' physical conditions through comprehensive assessments, including functional movement screenings and manual assessments.
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans that utilize a range of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Instructing patients on exercise regimens, stretching activities, and proper techniques for daily activities, ensuring they have the tools for self-management.
• Documenting all aspects of patient care in accordance with facility policies, tracking progress, and updating treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and adherence to treatment goals.
• Monitoring and adjusting treatments based on patient feedback and progress, using evidence-based practice to maximize outcomes.
• Educating patients, their families, and caregivers about rehabilitation processes, self-care techniques, and preventive health measures.

You will work with a diverse patient demographic, including children and adults recovering from various orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
