Work Environment

The physical therapist role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center. Here, you will collaborate in a supportive environment with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, which includes other physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists. This ensures we provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs. Our center is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources to support your practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, which will inform the creation of individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with patients on therapeutic exercises and modalities to help reduce pain and enhance mobility.
• Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to orthopedic conditions, ensuring comprehensive rehabilitation.
• Participate actively in the clinical instruction of interns and new staff, contributing to a culture of learning and development.
• Present at least one in-service annually to educate staff and stay updated on best practices in orthopedic care.
• Contribute to clinical research initiatives to promote advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. This role requires a compassionate approach to care, ensuring that each patient feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their rehabilitation process. Your work here will contribute significantly to improving their long-term health outcomes and functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license is mandatory to practice.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective patient interaction and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is strongly preferred, showcasing a higher level of expertise.
• Experience with a variety of orthopedic rehabilitation modalities and techniques is favored, as is familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits

• At VIP Physical Therapy & Wellness, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
