Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and establish patient-specific goals based on their unique needs and expectations.
• Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on the rehabilitation process, pain management strategies, and preventive measures to enhance recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously, evaluating treatment outcomes and adapting care plans to achieve optimal results.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care and achieve shared goals for patient recovery.
• Drive initiatives for lowering reliance on medications and exploring non-invasive treatment alternatives to enhance mobility and function.
• Participate in continuous education programs and workshops to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse group of patients dealing with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. These may include post-surgical patients, athletes, and individuals managing chronic musculoskeletal pain. The focus will be on helping each patient restore functionality, build strength, and regain confidence in their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• An immaculate professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated proficiency in developing and applying customized exercise protocols.
• Strong communication skills, with a patient-centered approach that fosters trust and confidence.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and sports-related injuries.
• Knowledge and practical application of contemporary treatment modalities and approaches in the management of pain and mobility issues.
• Proven ability to document and assess patient care effectively, utilizing data-driven practices for optimal outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
